Kristen has been in love with fashion and trends for as long as she can remember. She always had a copy of InStyle close by (sorry, Vogue, but those celebrity style layouts were everything), and has a gift for turning what's happening in culture into hair women genuinely want to wear.
She started her career in fashion, and at 30, she made the leap to hair. Inspired by her love of lived-in hair, she developed signature looks that blend modern technique and trends rooted in personal style. Today that work has earned her a loyal following.
In 2024, she opened Private Studio. Kristen has built the kind of career so many stylists hope for, and now she's focused on helping others get there, with a studio designed around their success and, before long, a way to share the techniques she's spent years refining.
In her chair, the conversation might wander from the latest Summer House episode to the dinner she's planning for the weekend or what's next for Private Studio. Her clients come for the colour and stay for the recaps.
