Private Studio is a collective of independent hairstylists, built on one belief: you shouldn't have to choose between your independence and a community that inspires you.

Every independent career begins with a moment of confidence. Mine came when I realized I'd built something worth taking with me: my craft, my clients, and a clear vision of the experience I wanted to give them. I didn't want to find a new place to work. I wanted to create the one I'd been looking for, a space that matched the calibre of the work, felt as good as the results, and made going independent feel less like a risk and more like a celebration.

So I built it. I spent a year planning every detail, shaping the brand, and searching until I found the right room. The moment I stepped inside, I knew. Even the realtor felt it: there was a warmth there before a single chair arrived. Today, Private Studio is a light-filled loft in the Fashion District, well kept and thoughtfully stocked, where the essentials are handled so stylists can focus on their craft and their clients. When clients visit for the first time, the reaction is almost always the same: "wow."
