Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Please note that delivery times are not guaranteed, and delays may occur.

Delivery times are not guaranteed during high volume times including but not limited to holidays, sales, Black Friday. 

Delivery times are not guaranteed when Canada Post is having shipping and distribution issues and/or delays.

During Checkout you will see the total price (including taxes, shipping and handling charges) in Canadian dollars before you place your order. Your credit card will be charged in Canadian dollars according to the charges displayed during Checkout. Packages shipped to Canadian addresses do not require a signature for delivery.

Title to the products in your order is transferred from Sephora to you when your credit card is charged and your products are shipped. Risk of loss with respect to the products in your order is transferred from Sephora to you when your order is delivered to you. This transfer of title does not affect our returns policy.

Parcel Forwarding Services

If you choose to use a parcel forwarding company, we will not be liable for any damage, defect, or loss that occurs. We will not offer replacements or refunds for orders or items that are reported missing or damaged that we reasonably believe to have been delivered to a parcel forwarding company. Any order addressed to a parcel forwarding company is placed at your own risk. KP Hair is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Business Days & Holidays

All orders process and ship Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the Canada. Based on the shipping method selected at checkout, if the order is placed after the cut-off time, it will be processed the following business day.

Packages do not ship on weekends or the following Canadian holidays:

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Private Studio, 116 Spadina Ave. #704, Toronto, ON M5V2K6. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 11am-7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@privatestudio.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Tracking Orders

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. Most of our orders are shipped within 2-3 business days after the order has been placed. The email will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the selected carrier site. To track the order, click on the tracking number located near the bottom of the email. To track an order on privatestudio.ca, visit the Account Information area. You will need to sign in to access your account information.

For your convenience, you will see the expected delivery date for your order when you select a delivery option, on the Order Confirmation page, on the Order Details page, and on the Order Confirmation email.

Restricted Hazardous Items

Certain items considered hazardous materials including aerosols and alcohol-based products (e.g., pressurized spray cans, hairspray, nail polish remover, etc.) are restricted and required to be shipped by standard, ground-only transport, due to air transport restrictions and regulations.

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

Return policy page

We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused, unopened and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@privatestudio.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
